Let's face it - planning a Disney vacation can be daunting. For both Disney newbies and veterans alike, there is a lot that goes into the planning process. Whether you're someone who has been travelling to the parks for years, or you're someone who is making their first trip, there are benefits for EVERYONE to use an authorized Disney vacation planner (like me) for their trip!

Walt Disney World is like a city of its own - complete with its own language. Genie+, lightning lanes, ADRs, it doesn't take much to confuse first-timers. Using an ADVP can make this learning process SO much less stressful.

There is no shame in needing help and guidance. Figuring out transportation, where to eat, what the weather is like, which magical experiences to take advantage of and how to make your vacation seamless and enjoyable is all part of the process with an ADVP. Speaking for myself, I didn't get into this business to be rich - I got into it because I LOVE planning Disney vacations, and Disney is in my blood. The folks working at agencies that specialize in Disney often travel to Disney destinations throughout the year. This keeps them up to date on everything that's happening - and we know that things at Disney are ALWAYS changing. Imagine getting advice from someone who has never been to a Disney destination before...

Let's get into it. Here are the top reasons why you need to use an Authorized Disney Vacation planner for your next vacay!

1) THEIR SERVICES ARE FREE.
Yes, you read that correctly. Using a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations is FREE to use. Actually, it's INCLUDED in the price of a Disney vacation if you're pricing things out on the Disney website. So really, if you book the vacation yourself, you're paying for an agent and not using one 😳 idk about you, but I don't like paying for things that I never end up using.

2) Tailored knowledge and service.
You will be getting knowledge and advice based on YOUR vacation plans! You can read all the blogs out there (like this one lol) and gain so much knowledge and insight - but it's not specific to YOUR vacation. With my guests, there is a constant back and forth dialogue, figuring out SPECIFIC plans for their vacation. Need to figure out how to get from the Polynesian to the Wilderness Lodge in a timely fashion? What about a genie+ strategy - what you should book first and what can you leave until later in the day to book? We (vacation planners) are here to help you through all of these scenarios to make your vacation seamless!

3) Time & Cost savings.
Can we compete with Costco's pricing? Maybe not - but Costco isn't going to wait on hold for you for 1+++ hours when new pricing becomes available, or if you need to modify or change your plans! Costco also isn't going to wake up at 5:45am EST to make your dining reservations for you 😆 but I will! There will be no tailored recommendations for your family, either. The beauty of working with an ADVP is that when a new promo becomes available, it's our job to apply it to your reservation immediately to save you money. Now THAT is time and cost savings. Costco packages are often non-refundable, and when a new promo becomes available, they can't even apply it to your vacation! Not to mention all the time I will save you in the parks by teaching you how to mobile order, mobile check out, and get around in the most efficient way possible!

4) They know the ins and outs of Disney IT.
Believe it or not - Disney IT can be confusing and frustrating. Inevitably, when planning your vacation, something will go awry and you'll need to be in touch with Disney about it. As your ADVP, I can remedy this for you. I can also tailor your reservation to be more likely to qualify for a future promotion! Yes, this is a thing.

5) They book your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) for you.
This is a big one. Quite often, Disney veterans book with me simply so I can book their table service dining for them. This can be STRESSFUL. Waking up at 5:45am EST paired with Disney IT = a recipe for an anxiety riddled morning. ADVPs know the ins and outs of the Disney website, so rest assured you can wake up in the morning with all those confirmation emails in your inbox. When planning where you want to eat, an ADVP can offer tailored advice on certain hard-to-get reservations to increase the likelihood of you getting everything you want.
